Some of our clients were pleasantly surprised by the results. Others were shocked, and took immediate action.
The Human Resource Climate Survey (sounds important doesn't it?) is an efficient tool for gathering critical information about organization conditions and management practices.
The core portion of the HRCS is a questionnaire measuring five critical areas of an organization. Our clients have found that these areas give extremely relevant feedback regardless of what stage their organizations are in:
- Organization Climate: Includes policies, procedures, rules (written & unwritten), and conditions created by all levels of leadership
- Management Leadership: Describes how group members actually experience the actions and behaviours of their supervisor
- Group Member Interaction: Describes the way group members work together as a team to get the job done, set and meet goals & objectives, and resolve conflict
- Work Group Performance: Measures the productivity or output of a work group, its ability to respond to unusual demands, and the extent to which it meets its performance goals & objectives
- Satisfaction: Examines the degree to which people are satisfied with the job, organization, salary, benefits, advancement opportunities, leadership, and peer relationships they experience
Responses to the questions gather employees' perceptions of the organization, and allow for the identification of strengths, problem areas, and opportunities for improvement.
We often customize surveys for the needs of individual companies by simply selecting a variety of questions from a databank containing in excess of 1500 questions which cover a variety of different functional areas of businesses. These questions have been tested and validated to ensure the computability and integrity of the results.
Depending upon an organization's objectives, surveys may be administered to either the full employee compliment or representative cross sections of the organization.
The employee survey process can be a vital part of an organization's growth and strategic planning. Contact Concord Consulting for further information and discussion on how this survey process can help meet your organization's needs.
